Design INFLUENCE: Dior's "NEW LOOK"
In 1947, Christian Dior redefined womenswear with an accumulation that was considered the "New Look," because of its accentuation on the female shape. Curvaceous outlines are again celebrated in Fall 2013 manner with more drawn out hemlines, nipped waists and form embracing sweaters.
