Rapper Lil Durk Arrested With Gun Charge In Chicago

Lil Durk was captured early Wednesday with a stacked .40 gauge handgun after he tossed the weapon in his auto when police approached, a source tells DNA Info .

Powers got the 20-year-old rapper, who was in the Englewood neighborhood, as they were examining a call of an individual acting suspicious with a weapon. Consistent with the source, Durk was spotted hurling the weapon into his auto when they moved up.

Police recouped a stacked .40-gauge and captured Durk on location. He was accused of "unlawful utilization of a weapon by a criminal." He is normal in court for bond on Thursday.

In October 2011, Durk was pulled over for drinking in his vehicle. Throughout that episode, sources say he was in ownership of a weapon. This last capture is his second offense, police said.
