Malibu, Calif. – Former Chicago Bulls star Scottie Pippen was addressed Monday about his weekend battle with a signature seeker that left the man hospitalized with a head damage.
Pippen came in voluntarily to a Los Angeles County sheriff's substation after he was named as a suspect in the squabble outside Nobu restaurant, a superstar home base on the shore in Malibu. He spoke to police for 60 minutes and was discharged pending further examination.
"He's being agreeable," sheriff's representative Steve Whitmore said.
Whitmore depicted the case as "muddled" and said there was no timetable for proclaiming if charges might be carried.
The unidentified schmuck was inside the restaurant taking photographs as Pippen ate with his family Sunday nighttime, sheriff's Capt. Patrick Davoren said.
